Abandon Child

A baby was born
and abandoned.
A Family was
torn.
The church
could not
demand it
nor envision it.
It's hard
when a man
he sits
in prison.
Every night
he makes deep
incisions into
his body.
He screams
"You're Not Sorry"
at her lying body
He sheds no tears but
the ones from
his wrist
Because he
Killed his
wife with his
bare fist.
Sometimes
He thinks
about the
child but doesn't
know why his actions
were wild

kill her?

reason?
because she
was pleasing
another man.
She was
married,
a mother
but now she is
buried at the
bottom of a
river.
People quiver at
this case.
Some say the
man was not in the
right state of
mind.
He could have been
on something.
While child was
on a door step
abandoned.
A woman crept
to her door
her expression
was slanted.
She brought baby
in and raised it as
her own.
This child will
one day rise to
the Throne
Because all the
people on his land
he shall own.
